PSYCHOSOCIAL SERVICES and SUPPORTS
What Are Psychosocial Services?
Psychosocial services focus on the connection between emotional well-being, life experiences, environment, and daily functioning. These services look beyond symptoms alone to understand how personal history, relationships, stressors, resources, and social conditions impact mental health.
At CAPS-C, psychosocial services begin with a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment. This allows our team to understand the full picture of an individual’s needs and develop a coordinated plan that addresses both clinical concerns and real-life challenges such as access to care, housing instability, financial stress, family dynamics, or life transitions.
Psychosocial services may encompass therapy to improve how you view your situation, primarily these services are designed to support stabilization, clarity, coordination, and access to appropriate care or needs.
Elder Care Supports
CAPS-C offers elder-focused biopsychosocial assessment and care navigation to assist with level-of-care determination, resource linkage, and transition planning. Services are individualized to support safety, stability, and informed choice.
Employment Resource
Employment Supports are designed to address the psychosocial factors that impact workforce engagement. While CAPS-C is not a staffing agency, we provide structured employment-related support, as well as access to trusted employment resources and referral partnerships within the community.
Community Support Groups
Our Community Support Groups provide a safe, structured space for individuals facing similar life challenges to join in supporting one another respectfully and compassionately. Groups are facilitated by qualified behavioral health professionals and focus on psychoeducation, skill-building, emotional support, and practical strategies for daily functioning
Social Work Consultative Services
These services provide guidance and support for individuals, families, and organizations navigating complex situations, decisions, and systems. We offer professional insight to help clarify needs, explore options, and develop practical, informed next steps.
Whether addressing care coordination, resource navigation, workplace or clinical challenges, our consultative approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and grounded in real-world application.
